For commercial property managers and small GCs

Stop chasing certificates of insurance. Vendor COI tracking that follows up with them, not you.

Thirty, fourteen, and seven days before a cert expires, we email the vendor and their insurance agent. They upload the new file from that email. You hear from us only when something is 7 days out, expired, or a replacement just landed — so you can refuse the work order.

Vendors do not create an account.

Enterprise COI tools quote per vendor and often start in the thousands per year. CoverCurrent is a flat $49/month for a 15–150 vendor book.

Hands-Off Guarantee: you send the list. We follow up with vendors already on that list (email and expiry on file). If you still have to personally chase one of those vendors for a current COI, that month is on us.

Green = can work. Red = chase this one. CoverCurrent does not approve coverage — you still read the certificate.

The chase is a part-time job. Nobody staffed it.

You already keep a spreadsheet. What eats the week is hunting PDFs, forwarding “please send COI,” and hoping the file that comes back is current.

  • Chase. You are the reminder system — Monday through Thursday, vendor by vendor.
  • Lapse. A date passes while last year’s PDF sits in the wrong inbox.
  • Work stops. An inspector on site. No work order. A payment hold.

We do not pay claims, stop-work, or legal bills. We exist so you are not the one chasing the PDF.

There’s an easier way.

How it works

  1. Send the spreadsheet

Email your vendor list to hello@covercurrent.com — names, emails, coverage types, expiry dates, and the insurance agent’s email if you have it. We import it. Fifteen vendors or a hundred and fifty — same process.

  2. The vendor gets reminders — and a magic link

Thirty, fourteen, and seven days before a certificate expires, we email the vendor and their insurance agent. The message includes a one-time upload link. No vendor account. You are not copied on those follow-ups. If a date is already inside that window, we start with the next remaining reminder.

  3. You see green or red on the list

Green = can work. Red = chase this one. You get a short status alert at 7 days out, expired, or when a replacement lands — so you can refuse the work order. That alert is not asking you to hunt the PDF. CoverCurrent does not approve coverage. You still decide whether a cert is acceptable.

Covered by the Hands-Off Guarantee: if you still have to personally chase a vendor we were already tracking, that month is on us. Not a 14-day trial. Not insurance.

FAQ

Can I just track COIs in a spreadsheet?

Yes, if someone actually opens it every week and emails every vendor. Most people don’t, which is why certs lapse between audits. CoverCurrent imports the sheet you already have, sends 30 / 14 / 7 reminders to the vendor and their insurance agent, and lets them upload from the message. You are not copied on those follow-ups. You still own the list. You stop owning the chase.

Does the vendor need an account?

No. Vendors do not create an account. The reminder includes a one-time upload link. Same if we email their insurance agent. No extra software for them.

What if a cert is already inside the reminder window?

We start with the next remaining reminder. If it is already inside 7 days, we send that one to the vendor and their agent, and you get the 7-day status alert so you can refuse the work order if you need to.

Is this insurance?

No. CoverCurrent is vendor COI tracking and reminders. Not an insurance policy, not a broker, not a coverage opinion. The software does not approve coverage. You still decide whether a cert is acceptable. Read the certificate. We do not pay claims, stop-work, or legal costs.

What’s the Hands-Off Guarantee? Can I cancel?

You send the list. We follow up with vendors already on that list — we had their email and an expiry date on file. If you still have to personally chase one of those vendors for a current COI, that month is on us. It is not a 14-day trial. It is not insurance. We do not pay stop-work, claims, or legal bills. Cancel anytime from the billing email or by writing hello@covercurrent.com. Details: the Hands-Off Guarantee.

Do you copy me on every reminder?

No. 30 / 14 / 7 reminders go to the vendor and their insurance agent only. You get a short status alert at 7 days out, expired, or when a replacement lands — so you can refuse a work order. That alert is not asking you to chase the PDF.

Who is this for?

Commercial property managers and small GCs who already keep a vendor list (about 15–150 vendors) and are tired of hunting PDFs in email. If you manage buildings, it is so a lapsed cert does not block a work order. If you run jobs, it is so you are not the person chasing paperwork when the inspector shows up. Not a fit if you need endorsement-level legal review or a demo call before you see the price.
